Yeah, I get it – you’re thinking ‘no way‘ or ‘you’re such a douche for even suggesting this...’
I know, but listen up & you’ll be pleasantly surprised at just how easy it is!
But, before I get into how you can make sure you have a phenomenal day every day – I need you to understand that I am in no way shape or form belittling the struggles people go through.
Woo! Today is Day 1 of Mental Health Awareness Week 2017 #MHAW2017 and the Mental Health Foundation is shaking up what they’re doing.
Instead of focusing on what mental health difficulties are or just trying to raise awareness they’re looking into why so many people with mental ill health in the UK are just about surviving and not thriving.
Woo welcome to April & #StressAwarenessMonth!
& what better way to overcome the stress in your life right now than cheating!
So, here’s my top 6 essential oils for cheating stress
“Bergamot, bergamot, bergamot
Where art though bergamot…”
Now, I have no idea why I’ve come over all Shakespearean it just popped into my head as I thought about the super oil!
So, what’s so special about this little beauty I hear you ask – well for starters it’s one of the cheapest oils out there.
Now, don’t let that put you off – it packs a punch!
I personally, love this oil because it’s just so refreshing.
As soon as I get a wiff, I feel instantly uplifted and centred.
But, I am bias towards the citrus oils.
For the past few years I’ve been struggling off and on with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS).
As may of you know it can be an extremely uncomfortable and quite embarrassing condition.
For me, when it’s at its worse I bloat up so horrifically I look like I’m 6 months pregnant.
We all know that being stressed is just about one of the most harmful things we can do to ourselves. Being stressed shuts down your immune system and forces your body to focus all its attention on keeping you alive. It’s not your bodies fault – it thinks your about to be eaten by a lion or something else utterly dangerous. While that meeting with your boss may set off all the same physiological responses as tussling with a lion I’m sure we can both admit it’s just not helpful!
